gonal f shots and IUI
I am starting this process this month.
I have some hesitation to actually thinking it will work because my husband has male factors (low motility).
Am i wrong for thinking this?

It could work. Especially if you have no issues. I've heard of successes.
Having said that if this cycle doesn't work, I would not do a ton of these IUIs with that issue for a prolonged period of time.
Your doctor would know best but be as educated about it as you can be.

I think that my doctor is being overly "careful" and wants me to try everything before doing IVF. He even had me do clomid for 3 months.

How was the SA?
Were your levels checked?
How old are you and were you TTCing for long before bringing it up to the doc?
Are you seeing a RE?

How old are you and were you TTCing for long before bringing it up to the doc?

We have been TTCing since Feb 2008. I went to the Doc in April 09. Started Clomind in August which has not work

Yes
time to amp up your strategy.
Your hormones need to be checked..FSH, LH, E2..
I would not waste any more time after this.
If your RE doesn't want to be more aggressive then move on.
