Good bar w/DJ in Suffolk/Nassau border
Can you recommend one? We usually go to RVC but I am looking into other options for my 30th b-day (trying to give DH some ideas) 
Anything in the Massapequa area? That is kind of a middle ground for my friends.
ETA: DH and I were talking about doing a private party type thing with a open bar for 2 hours before it gets packed and setting up the time so when it finishes the DH will be ready.

There is Mulcahy's in Wantagh - it gets packed at night though. I think the DJ comes on around 10pm. Before then it's usually a band.

Four in Melville has a DJ on certain nights, Im not sure which though.
you can reserve table so you can have an area for your group

I went to the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale at 9 months preggo with friends and had a blast.

What about the 56th Fighter Group in Farmingdale? I used to LOVE it there, its over by Republic.

I agree. Just did this a few weeks ago for a friends birthday. Had a great time. I went on a Sat and there was a DJ
