Good breakfast in Nassau
One of my college friends will be in the city Saturday, but I can't make it out. She's willing to meet me for breakfast Sunday as long as it's not too far. (She has to leave for upstate at noon.) I'm in Suffolk, so I have no clue where to go. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

She has to be on the road at noon, so probably somewhere that opens no later than 10! Thanks for the suggestions so far.

I second Chat Noir. I would just call before you go though. On more than one occasion, I've tried to go there only to find that it was closed for a private party (It's very small.).

The food is great there but what keeps us going back is the service! They are all family and all extremely welcoming. Best managed place I have ever been to But if you go after 10-10:30 there is a long wait, unless u sit at the counter, which I love doing anyway..even for dinner at nice places
