Good Broadway show for kids
My Mother wants to take me & my DD for a Ladies outing to a Broadway show for my birthday. My DD is almost 5 years old and is very good with sitting for shows, movies and such.
Any suggestions for a good Broadway show for all of us? I am also open to Off Broadway or other venues on LI or in the city. I am so out of touch with Broadway shows.
All suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

One of my friends took her 5 year old daughter to see Mary Poppins and raved about it. I also think Little Mermaid is a good one.

My 5 year old loved Mary Poppins. There was one scary part & she was perfectly fine with it.

My aunt is taking DH, me and my stepkids to see Wizard of Oz at the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden. The show only runs until April 5th. WaMu Theater

We took Ava to The Little Mermaid at about 3 1/2- it was excellent. We saw Mary Poppins at 4, great too, but not as good as Little Mermaid.
We will be seeing The Lion King or Shrek next.
We saw Blues Clues lasr weekend.
We are also seeing Dora Live in 2 weeks.
