Good food, nice table, oh my...
We went out to a Japanese restaurant the other night, we were seated at a nice table, I opened my napkin and saw that we all had one salad fork and chopsticks. Moving on. Ate my salad with that salad fork and then the food service came and remove our dishes to get ready for our main course coming. "Here's what I thought was a little odd". The food service took my salad fork wiped it down with a towel hanging for his belt loop and tossed the fork back to me and it landed on my napkin. It was a W>T>F just happened moment  Am I the only one that saw this... Maybe it's just me but I thought that was so wrong...

Hagane in Howard Beach... i am always disappointed everytime we go and i dont see chopsticks on the table lol... we used to go to Momo Yama in Brooklyn... they give you both...

Ahh...I've never been there before. I've only gone to a bunch of places on the island and in the city. I haven't hit any in Queens or Brooklyn.
So funny that they don't give chopsticks! If the places I've been to hadn't I'd have never learned to use them!

Eeeeeuuuuuwwwwww, I would have given it back, but there's no guarantee he'd give you another clean one, if that's how they do things!!! Perhaps the Board of Health would be interested in your story!!!! Mary

Definitely!!! If he's using the same towel to wipe everyone's utensils, there 's got to be a rule with the Dept. of Health about that!!! Mary
