good grief....

I can't believe it. remember my scare earlier this week, when I had the emergency appt, they did a lot of blood work.

I just found out form the office that not one of those 7 vials of blood was to measure my beta levels Wouldn't that be exactly what they'd be concerned with if there was spotting and a clot?

well, since there was no more spotting, I'm not as concerned, but still, it strikes me as odd.....

heh, apparently, they had HIV, reubella, and other useless crap on their minds

I dunno, since it was an emergency appt, it was with a different Dr. in the group. she obviously wasn't completely with it.... Another thing I picked-up...

I had a sono, she asked me how far along I was, and I said I got my OPK+ on 1/5, so I O'ed on the 6th or 7th..... she couldn't do the math and asked when my last period was, and used a slide rule chart to figure out what week I was she then said we would only see the sac and the pole, but at 3 weeks 2 days gestational age, I read online the best you could ever see is the sac she was mildly concerned that I didn't see the pole, but I wasn't.

So, I'm not terribly surprised she forgot to test the beta levels.
