Re: Good/Helpful books....during Pregnany
I ready the Jenny Mc Carthy book Belly Laughs. It's crude at points but very direct about pregnancy, and you just have to laugh at some of the silly symptoms that come along with pregnancy, and what Woman do to themselves :)
I have also read Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy Pregnancy Week by Week What To Expect when your Expecting The EVERYTHING Pregnancy book
I liked the Pregnancy week by week book the best, I loved seeing what's going with my lil one :) the what to expect is good too!
Good Luck!
at first I was very afraid to get excited about this pregnancy after a loss @ 15 weeks. Then I decided I was going to be thrilled about my baby for however long I had her with me. I am at 35 weeks now, and I am LOVING it!

The Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy is excellent - and not scary. Good luck

Re: Good/Helpful books....during Pregnany
I like the Mayo clinic book and Week by Week - I'm not a big fan of What to Expect - I find it poorly organized and rather disjointed. For example, I'm pretty far in and just now reading about things I would've liked to have read in the beginning, while the beginning seemed to spend a lot of time on genetic testing and things that don't happen until later, if that makes sense.

Re: Good/Helpful books....during Pregnany
i've read the belly laughs which is a lite entertaining read until she talks about her birth..you'll be balling then.
i also have the what to expect when you're expecting..got through 20+ weeks in there and stopped..its pretty informative. I started reading what to expect the first year b/c im more concerned with baby care at this point than pregnancy.
