I was wearing a green shirt that I threw away at the start. (not my favorite green shirt though!)
I wore black for the race.

you do not look awful! it was a nice article. wish i would have been there too see you and max cross the finish line together!
The whole race was very emotional. There is a mistake in the article. I was bawling at mile 4 when I tackled two of my sons and DH. There was a great guy from Runner's Edge who took my hand and helped me up for a good quarter of a mile. I can't wait to see the pictures from the finish line!
Sorry I so let you guys down. My time was 30+ minutes more than my PR!

I don't post on here often, but had to say I just saw the article on Newsday.com and I just started crying when I read how you finished with your son. I think it's amazing how you raised so much money for TNT. I trained with them in 2006, wonderful people, wonderful organization. Congrats on your race, and sometimes it's more than just about a finishing time and/or how fast your pace was. You'll just keep getting stronger.

Yup it was you...I was right behind you..but not for long haha!
I do the same thing with the shirts wear an old one to throw away.

OMG! I was right next to you at the start. I was embarassed to ask if it was you. Now I'm kicking myself. I did the same thing with Julz at another race! I was wearing my green NYC 1/2 shirt and black pants. i had a white under armour headband on.
