good ol mammogram...
so...last week I had my first mammogram (ouch!). they called me to come in and have 1 boob done again (they need another image...). I go today and they took it(ouch,ouch!) plus a sonogram. Mind you I was nervous as hell lying there through this sono and what was probably 5 minutes seemed like a 1/2 hour. The girl comes back after bringing the images/prints to the dr. and nothing to worry about- something about seeing 2 tiny lymph nodes but it looks fine...well, after leaving there I'm still confused. I just wanted to get out of there and my head wasn't on straight I guess because I really don't get whatever she told me. I thought everyone HAS lymph nodes so I'm just not getting it Is anyone 'familiar' with this?
