Good place to go out for drinks on a Saturday
I never go out drinking anymore so I don't know what's good.
Some of my co-workers want to take me out next weekend to celebrate my moving on to a new job.
It's a mix of people who may be coming in from Brooklyn & Manhattan and the rest of us are in Western Suffolk for the most part. Mostly in our 30's and older.
I know the people coming in from the city may crash with a co-worker so being by the train is not super important.
I work in Babylon now so I was going to suggest going some where there. I've also been to the Good Life in Massapequa before, but not later on. Does it get insanely packed?
I don't know if some of the people coming would like a lounge or trendier place like that.

There's the Post Office in Babylon
I like, esp when the weather gets nice, Prime in Huntington

The Post Office was actually a thought of mine. We go there for lunch frequently.
The Bull Dog which I am pretty sure is owned by the same people, is right near my house so I could always call DH to come pick me up. Or walk home if needed.

The Good Life can get VERY crowded, but they do have great drinks.

In Babylon I would def go to monsoon and barrique. There is also another wine bar that opened up a few stores down from barrique . They are all on deer park avenue...not 231...the old one in the village!

I know you said Babylon, but Astoria has great places. I celebrated my birthday at FLO. The food and drinks were good.

Monsoon is fun, great drinks and they have a DJ come on later.....it gets packed.
