Good places by Penn Station
Hey commuters..
any cute places to eat not too far from Penn... I feel like i am always rushing to make my train would be easier if i met friends closer to penn but not exactly a fun area...thought i would se if anyone had any suggestions..thanks!

I have gone to Cafe 31, right on 31st Next to the Garden. I have been there a few times before shows and it's a nice place to hang out and grab a bite to eat.

mmmm Tir Na Nog. It is an irish place but not like shepards pie and wings.. Lots of good seafood and other non seafood meals. SOOO YUMMY!!!!!

Stout (LINK)... great Irish pub and restaraunt. It's on 33rd between 7th and Broadway (I think)

My favorites are Stout on 33rd Street between 7th & 6th....it's like a half a block from Penn. There are a few other places on that block too.

Mustang Sally's or Mustang Harry's - Both on 7th, just walk down, can't miss them. Both are good food/drink places.

Theres also a good Thai and a Japanese place on 8th ave between 32nd and 31st, if you're in the mood for that sort of food.
Stagedoor Deli is also pretty good.

Tir Na Nog - 8th and 34th (I believe it's 34th) - irish pub but the food is "pub grub" - probably some irish things on the menu like shepard's pie, etc.

That's so funny, I LOVE their shepard's pie! But they do do tons of other things on their menu too.
