good places to find "big boy" furniture? also a question about mirrors--do boys use them?

i checked out bob's and ashley furniture today. ashley had nothing and i found one nice set at bob's but i want to keep looking.

i prefer "adult" furniture than the obvious kid furniture, but am not against it. the problem is we need a twin bed because DS's room is small and many adult sets only have a full or above.

any other ideas for reasonable furniture? he needs everything--dresser, bed, etc.

oh---and do boys use mirrors on their dressers? if they don't what do they use?

I got my DS furniture at Bareboards/Country Parlor in West Islip. It is not kids furniture but is a bit youthful. Check out there bedroom gallery on there website.

This is the twin bed that I bought my DS in the pine color. (comes in several different finishes or colors)

I got DDs from jcpenny furniture. I know a lot of women have got their DD and DSs from there and been happy with it.

DS' is from Bob's and I really like the set. We got a twin size captains bed and it looks great.

The dresser came with a mirror and if nothing else it brightens the room.
