Good places to shop for BR sets
HI all, just looking for some good shopping suggestions for bedrm sets. We already checked out Raymour & Flanigan, Bob's, and the Bassett place on 110.
Thanks.
We seem to be into darker wood and sleigh beds.

We got ours in The Place on Rte 110..Pictures are in my album! Last weekend when we were there, they had a lot of sleigh beds & darker woods

If you find something ata one of those stores, take a pic and take it to Stanley's in Patchogue. They are a familiy run business, and they will order what you saw.
We saw something in Penn Furniture, the same exact set, and we got it for $600 cheaper and he let us do 0% financing longer than Penn would.

JC Penney, the home store in Lake Grove -
This is picture of our bedroom set (our set is mahogany - so it's darker than this picture, but you get the idea)
We paid less than $1800 for the bed (headboard, footboard, rails), men's chest, dresser w/ mirror and night stand
I suggest you try to go there this weekend for the Labor day sales. They always have GREAT prices

JCPenny is pretty good. The quality is good but the customer service s uc k s.
Also try Thomasville and Rooms to Go.

WE got our bedroom set, which I love, in a dark wood and its a sleigh bed, from the Macy's furniture warehouse on Glen Cove Rd in Carle Place.

DH's husband left us a sleigh bed, so all we needed were the dressers and nightstands... we got them from JCPenney.com... delivery was a NIGHTMERE, but everything was affordable... also, fortunoff had some great stuff...

I like westelm.com. there's a shop in brooklyn you can visit, if you like the stuff online. It's owned by pottery barn, so it's pretty good quality......
