Good Playground/Picnic Area in Eastern Suffolk?

I live in Smithtown and wanted to take DS with a friend tomorrow to a nice park with an area to lay a blanket for a picnic and a nice playground with some baby swings. Can you recommend some? TIA

Diamond in the Pines on rte 112, just north of rte 83 (North Ocean Rd.) Very easy to miss it, but just know it is between 83 and the firehouse on the North side of 112. Amazing park! Shady areas including a pavilion, some other picnic benches under trees, etc.

I think it is technically Coram.

It's a wonderful park, but completely lacking in shade.
