We got our appliances including washer and dryer at PC Richards they had the best price, and they also price match. So you can negotiate.

From November 17 to December 14 (paper said Dec 7, but online it says Dec 14)
Costco is selling for $1,749.99 after $150 OFF the Whirlpool Duet Sport Pair 6.7 CuFt Dryer 3.7CuFt Washer 13" Pedestals in Gas or Electric.

I've seen washers & dryers for as low as $599 but I can't remembe which store had the special on the high efficiency ones

We bought ours at the Sears Outlet in Babylon.
That Costco sale looks like a great buy. It also comes with the pedestals.

I would try mom and pop places too. Tommy Fisher in E Northport beats a lot of places.
