Good snacks
I do the gym 5x a wk, strength training and cardio So far, No weight loss but im trying to change the eating habits as best I can.
I hear this all the time, small meals throughout the day.
So,what small snacks are good to eat in between the meals?
I eat egg whites or cereal for breakfast, a LC for lunch.
Im trying fruit....dried snacks w/almonds.
What else?

Re: Good snacks
baby carrots are a great snack & they are crunchy so they also help appease that feeling of needing something crunhy.

Christine, where do you get Greek Yogurt - Fat Free? I looked in Walbaums this past weekend and couldn't find it.

Re: Good snacks
You can get it at health food stores. It is hard to find. I think Trader Joes has it. It has only th natural sugar from the milk, nothing added. I put just touch of splenda in it to cut out the sourness. It is so thick and creamy! Yum!

Ditto on the Fage yogurt- that stuff is yummy and really filling.
I also like strips of bell pepper and cucumbers.

I would try and cut out the Lean Cuisine's and replace it with more real/natural food. Maybe tuna or turkey on whole wheat or even chicken salad. Or a big salad w/ grilled chicken, etc. I noticed all those frozen food meals have lots of sodium in them anyway so I cut them out years ago.
Other snacks are a teaspoon or two a day of peanut butter--its all I need to fill me up for a bit. A handful of almonds are good and fruit! Strawberries/Grapes/Apples/Blueberries.....its summer now, take advantage of all of them.

Re: Good snacks
I was going to say the same as tray831! Those lean cuisines & even weight watchers are loaded with sodium which will bloat you! I cut them out a year ago..
Snacks: carrots veggies fruit trail mix soy crisps rice cakes with peanut butter
