Good towns to walk around, shop, eat
Looking for somewhere to go later today. I am not super familiar with all the towns around here since I am not originally from LI. I like Huntington & Sayville. Any other suggestions? TIA!

Babylon Village is nice. You can walk around the lake and there are some great restaurants and adorable shops. I highly recommend the Greek Garden near the corner of Grove & Deer Park Ave. There are 2 good sushi restaurants on DPA as well as Mulberry Street for Italian on Main Street.
It's gorgeous out, have fun!

Two that come to mind are Great Neck and Huntington....I'm sure there are tons more.

I'm not sure how far east you are willing to go, but Port Jefferson Village is small, but cute. And there are a lot of cute, trendy restaurants.
And its right on the water, which is nice.
