goodie bag help please
Alys first bday party is in 2 weeks...we are giving our pails and shovels with goodies in them to the kids. Most of them are really young...however, I have 2 9 yr olds and 2 11 yr olds coming...obviously, no pail and shovel for them. too old for a goddie bag? or do I give them something different? and if so, what???

I went to a b-day party and the gift was really awesome...it was a 5 dollar gift card to barnes and nobles for ach kid. I think thats a great idea. or you can do a mcdonalds gift card...I am sure kids meals are like 5 bucks.

ohh yah, either of these would work for 9 and 11 yr olds...up to what age do you give a goodie???
and up to what age would you do the pail and shovel?

I would say like 12...once Highschool starts they can get their own goodies

hmmm...thats tough...back in our days I would have said 9ish BUT these days kids are too cool...LOL they want electronics to have fun! I would say maybe 6 or 7.

yeah, that was my problem....back in our day, I played with my pail an shovel till I was like 12!!! Now kids are wayy too cool.....

You know I have been asking myself the same question - I am still tossed up about the ages - but I did notice the dollar store had kites - I think I am going to get them for the bigger kids
