i just read this - w t f. next week is the last episode???? am i the only one who didn't know that???? its not being cancelled is it???
They probably ran out of new episodes due to the writers strike - they only ordered so many at the beginning of the season and then renewed it after it did well.

I think they are joking around about potential storylines. But I'm sure they're all made up- well except the last one.

I hope not canceled, it may just be last episode for season, sometimes when they put a show like this on for first time, the first season is short and then will start again in springish or next fall.

I don't think its cancelled- at least I hope not!!! I think it probably just ran out of episodes because of the writers strike... either way so sad that the season is over

It's not cancelled. I read back in the early fall that it was being reknewed for next season due to its high ratings. However, with the writer's strike, there may be no more episodes to air or being written until all is settled with the Writer's Guild.
Off topic a little - should be interesting if the Guild and the tv producers don't start negotiating - the OSCARS, Golden Globes and the other awards shows we're used to won't be getting aired cause the actors stated they won't attend if the strike is still ongoing b/c they don't want to cross the picket lines.

yes it is very loosely based on a series of books
the books are dictign too but they are very different story lines
