got a nice surprise today
So as many of you know, my mom and I were completely on the outs for most of my pregnancy. We've talked it all out and things have been really good for the past month. She's going to teach dance for me while I take a maternity leave, we call each other to chat, she's been buying stuff for the baby, etc... I've been very happy.
So today is DH and my 2 year anniversary and my parents came by to give us a gift. They bought us a digital video camera!!!  I'm so excited!!! DH and I were going to buy one for ourselves but we still hadn't gotten around to it. And now we don't have to!!!
Now this is much more like the "mom" I'm used to!

That is so great!!! I'm glad to hear that she's coming around. I bet once the baby comes, she'll be even better. What a great gift too! We need to get one of those too. Thanks for reminding me.

Glad things are so much better between you and your Mom.. and what a thoughtful gift! it def. will come in handy once Luca makes his debut

Happy Anniversary!
I'm glad you and mom are working things out and eveything is going back to "normal." I know it is very important to have your mom around at this stage in our lives.
