Got my first Birchbox, thought I'd share my thoughts...
...since I think a few other ladies were interested.
It was a little disappointing. This month marked their first "birthday" so they did things a little differently and gave samples of their favorite things from the year.
I got:
Befine Night Cream. A 0.5 ounce tube, not bad. Probably the thing I like the most.
Jouer Lip Enhancer: I have no interest in this at all, but I may try it. I am leery of lip plumpers for no good reason.
Jurlique Hand Santizer: 1.7 ounce bottle, a very nice size. But...hand sanitizer? Really?
Salvatore Ferragamo Attimo L'Eau Florale: A little sample vial, it's pretty. One of my favorite things is an apothecary jar full of my little perfume vials that sits on my dressing table. So it's nice to add to my collection, but I was hoping for more skincare stuff.
A Birchbox friendship bracelet: Pink string with a silver box charm. More appealing to the 15 and under set, I didn't really get it. Probably tossing it into my donation box.
I will give it a couple more months- I don't expect HUGE samples for $10 a month, but I was hoping for more things I'd be excited to use.

Thanks so much for the review. I was on the fence for it and am still not sure if I will do it.

I will update again next month- one thing I have to say, it arrives fast. They ship on the 10th and I got mine on the 12th. They are NYC based.

I was disappointed as well. This was my first box and I was very unimpressed...
I don't think I got the hand sanitizer though...

It is a service that sends you a box of deluxe beauty samples for $10 a month.

On their FB page some women were saying they got nail strips- did you get those? I guess I can't gripe too much because those held no interest for me at all.

Yes - I got the nail strips - I threw them out. Along with the friendship bracelet.
