Got my test results- Not much to report-Prolactin?
Endometrial Biopsy= Negative. Good!
All loss BW (20 vials) and a few others things like AMH- nothing major to report. Only thing that came up was my Prolactin was slightly elevated. My RE likes to see it under 24 and it was 30.4. I have to fast and get it tested again. When I had it tested when I started with my RE it was slightly elevated too. Retested and was sent for an MRI which was negative. At that time my RE thought it wasn't high enough for meds.
Anyone have experience with a slightly elevated Prolactin level? Do you think this level could be effecting something IF related?
So yet again we are Unexplained. I was hoping some answers would be found but I really knew nothing was gonna show up. After all of these failures I want answers! I think I just have bad luck!

I know the feeling of wanting to find out something wrong. But consider it one less thing to worry about! Sorry no experience with the prolactin. What does your doctor say?

Yeah I hear yah. I spoke to the nurse and she said my RE wants me to get more BW when I fast. Its actually lower than it was like 6 months ago. Then it was 37 I think. I looked it up online and since I don't have a tumor (I had the MRI to check) there doesn't seem much to do. There are some meds for it but I doubt he will put me on them for only being slightly over. Now I'm wondering if its something to do with the thyroid. Once I get the new results in then I'll speak with RE and see what he thinks.

My new RE tested my prolactin. Don't have results yet but I'm curious.

Yeah thats literally the only thing that has come up in this almost a year of working with my RE. I been trying to research this but can't find much about my level since it isn't so high. If it was a lot higher than it would most likely be a pituitary tumor. My MRI showed nothing so IDK.
Hopefully some ladies with this issue respond so I know what I'm dealing with. My RE wasn't concerned when I got the negative MRI back.
Hopefully you get your results soon!
