let us know how the recipes turn out! I really want it, but Im trying to go towards a more natural way of eating versus the low fat stuff , artifical ingredients, but I saw it in the store and it looked great!
ENJOY!

Re: Got the Hungry Girl Cookbook!
I have tried the hungry girl fettuccine Alfredo with the shiratake noodles, cream cheese, and LF sour cream. IT IS SOOOOOOO GOOD. I know it sounds gross, but trust it is YUM-O!

Dina -
How were the shirataki noodles - Hungry girl loves them, but acknowledges that some may not like the taste. Also, where did you get them - did you have problems finding them?
I've really been wanting to make the Fiber one onion rings since I first saw the recipe from the Hungry girl recipes! A lot of the soups look good too - I'm a big soup person!
I'll give you guys reviews as I try things out!

Re: Got the Hungry Girl Cookbook!
I made the fiber one mozzarella sticks which I liked but I warn you the cereal is pretty sweet. I think I would add some extra salt or parmesan to mask that.

I got them at ShopRite. My dad likes them too and he is in Sunrise, FL. Publix has them. Usually by the soy cheeses and tofu. You have to rinse them. Then, drain them really well this makes a big difference. I even pat them dry with a paper towel. HTH and let us know about those onion rings!

Re: Got the Hungry Girl Cookbook!
See - I've only seen them at one Publix, and then the next time, they weren't there
Do they taste like pasta?

Yes if you rinse, drain and dry them.
They are very popular my dad buys 2 or 3 packs when Publix has them in stock.

I haven't made anything from the book yet, but I wasn't all that impressed with the recipes that I saw....maybe I will have to give it another look!

Re: Got the Hungry Girl Cookbook!
You can get it at bookstores. I also saw it in BJ's (in Florida though, wasn't in the BJ's here)
