Grace is growing up too fast!

Grace has been in the hospital since Friday afternoon UPDATED 1/22/07
She was hospitalized for dehyration and gastrointeritis (sp?). On Early Friday morning around 1AM she started vomiting. She even threw up pedialyte.  At first, I though it was a reaction to her antibiotic (she also has an ear infection), but it was not. I went to the pediatrician and they admitted her.
So I spent the night there Friday and my MIL relieved me Saturday morning. I came home to shower and I got violently sick, apparently I caught what Grace had.
So MIL and DH took turns staying with her yesterday and last night. Her doctor told me that since she is getting better, I cannot see her until I am well. I am so upset, but understand his reasoning. The pediatrician thinks she will be discharged Monday afternoon. We leave for Hawaii Thursday morning (6AM) and the ped told us we may not be able to go. We don't want to push it and I would rather go in a few weeks when Grace is 100% better. We decided to play it by ear.
Please pray that we all get better soon. This is a NASTY stomach flu.
UPDATE: DH has a fever and feels sick too. My MIL is with Grace now and said she can stay over again tonight. THANK GOD.
I am feeling a little better but dizzy and not well enough to drive. My MIL said that Grace is dong better, she is eating some solid food and being her playful, happy self.
My MIL told me some good news, it looks like Grace will be discharged tomorrow. 
1/22/07: Grace is coming home!!!! 
I feel better and DH feels a little better. I am leaving to pick her up in a hour.
We decided to postpone our trip by a week or two. Now we have to see if we can get flights at that time.  Wish us luck!

Oh no!! I'm so sorry little Grace is sick and mommy, too!! I hope she's home soon and you're all 100% by Thursday for a much needed vacation.

I hope everyone is feeling better soon!
You need this vacation more than anyone, I hope you get cleared to go ontime.
My bosses two daughters got the "violent" virus last week and went to the hospital. There is something nasty out there!

aww, poor thing. This is the last thing you needed after everything else. UGH! Any idea how she got it? How is this contracted? Glad they're releasing her soon.
