Graco 4Ever
I'm pretty set on this carseat...any pros/cons to share?
Also, is this the only option for a compatible stroller? Did anyone else find anything different?

Graco 4Ever
I love the 4ever. It's a great seat and can definitely be used by newborns but it does not click into any strollers. It is meant to stay in the car. Only infant carriers are meant to be removed and click into strollers.
I have no cons. I truly love the seat.

I agree.
But I also love the snap'n'go. We had DD in an infant car seat until around 8 months old. Then I changed her into the 4ever. I love the seat. No complaints.

the graco 4ever does not work with the snap and go. Anything that says graco click connect is compatible with the snap and go. I registered for the graco click connect 30lx with the snap and go for the first year, and then the graco 4ever for when the baby grows out of the infant seat

Re: Graco 4Ever
I just want to make sure that I'm getting this right (FTM mom here )
The Graco 4Ever isn't for infants? I'll need to get a different seat and stroller for the infant stage and if I want the G4E...then i'll get that once he's out of the infant stage?

it's a convertible car seat, but CAN be used for an infant (like many convertible seats).
Graco makes car seats specific to infants, and are used with the snap and go until they are around 6-12 months old (depending on their size).

Graco 4Ever
There are two types of seats: infants good only for about 12 months and can snap into and out of cars (with base) and strollers (snap and go stroller or a travel system stroller like the Graco Modes, which grows with baby).
Convertible car seats are typically good from newborn till a few years (based on height and weights capacity). They grow with the child. The Graco4ever even converts to a booster. These remain in the car. They do not snap into strollers.
My advice is to get both an infant and convertible. The infant is great when the baby falls asleep in the car and you don't want to wake them. Also if you have two cars or if someone else will be driving your DC you might consider purchasing an additional base for the infant seat (this is the stationary piece that stays in the car the infant seat clicks into it).
You can also purchase a non Graco larger stroller like the city mini or select. They sell adapters that are compatible with Graco car seats so they work as a snap and go too. A little heavier than the snap and go you pictured but these strollers also grow with your baby.
