Graco Safeseat Infant Car Seat
Did anyone register for this? And if so, can you use a regular "Snap N Go" frame with it, or does it have to be a Graco brand one?

I got the Graco SnugRide BUT they can be used in an Universal Snap & Go or the Graco one! I chose the Graco snap and Go since it just snaps in and you don't have to use straps like in the Universal ones!

What made you choose the snugride over the safeseat??
Its lighter! It only holds up to 22lbs where the Safeseat holds I believe 30lbs. Theres no way I'll be lugging a 30lb baby around in an infant seat so I went with the lighter one- but thats just me! And when my mom told me that I was only 19lbs at 12months old that put things in perspective for me.

I got the Safe Seat, and used it with the Snap N Go - NO PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!

I did too. I tested it in BRU and it seemed to be the sturdiest. DH couldn't even "un-snap" it!
I was debating between the Snugride and the Safeseat, but I started talking to a BTDT Mom in the store and she talked me into the Safeseat. She said her son was in it for an entire year and she loved it!

We got the snugride. No way would I be lugging around two babies in infant seats at 30lbs. I doubt I will even go up to the 22lb limit.
I heard that the babytrend snap-n-go frame is not compatible with the safeseat.

I have the SafeSeat and used it with the Kolcraft Universal Carrier (I preferred this one better because it was easier to access the basket and the baby sat higher off the ground). DD is going to be one and she still fits into her safeseat. I love it.
