Graco Snugride moms...

Did you put a Bundle Me in your snugride yet? Are you having problems with the straps now?
I put one in Michael's carrier and now the straps are way too short, and I've pulled them all the way out! He's too little still to have outgrown the seat and I'm not sure what to do!

Did anyone else have this problem?

Re: Graco Snugride moms...

I was just complainng about this past weeeknd. DD gets so frustrated cause the straps don't sit on her like they used too. They are either way too tight, or they bunch up.

I almost feel like we waste 40 bucks,i love the concept though!

Not yet. I refuse to give up just yet. The straps in the snugride are horizontal, but when you put them into the bundle me the opening is vertical, so the straps kinda turn and get twisted.

We bought it to use while we still can, I love her being in the carrier, she only about 15 lbs, so i know we have a some good winter months with her in it.

If i can't figure out how the get the straps correctly, i am def ripping it out and she's wearing a winter coat and a fleece blanket.

I'll save the bundle me for her stroller.

I could never get the bundle me to fit in his infant seat. So I only used it for the stroller.

I never bused the bundle me even though I wanted to, my dh thought it wasnt necessary. I know BRU sells something that is fleece and it only sits on the back part so the top isnt cover but I would think it would still keep them somewhat warm and then you can always put a blanket on him.

On a side note, where did you get Michael's sweater, the one that is in your avatar. I love it!

Mikey is the same size (15lbs) so that is why I don't want to give up on the carrier yet either. I'll have to find something else then. Bummer!!

I'm looking at the ages of the other girls who said they didn't have a problem and I see their babies are alot smaller and younger than ours.

Same here. I just open up the vertical slits in the Bundle me & stick the straps through. It takes some adjusting sometimes but sits fine on her shoulders & chest.

ETA: Abby is almost 15 pounds.

I had no problems last year with the snugride and the bundle me. I wish I could still use it but she is in the big seat.

Depending on what Ella is wearing, the straps are tight with the bundle me in there now.

I was disappointed to find out that the straps were extended as far as they go Chat Icon

(Ella's 4.5 months, and ~14-15lbs)

Maddie is 2.5mths and we have the straps out as far as they go too with the bundle me. I don't know what's going to happen when she gets a little bigger. Chat Icon

Yes!! We had this problem too. My DH was going crazy trying to figure it out.

We had the straps out all the way and he still wouldn't fit.

I finally had to remove a layer of his clothing to get him to fit in it.

I don't know what I will do when he gets bigger!
