Granite/Quartzite/Marble stone companies?
We're looking to have a stone counter top installed in our pantry. We stopped at one location in E. Northport (Imperial Stone on Jericho Tpke). I found one type of slab that I thought I liked (Solaris Quartzite), but after reviewing some images online, I'm now questioning my selection and would like to go to some other stone yards to check out some slabs.
Anybody have any experience with other stone companies? Preferably near Huntington.
Thanks!

I just used Alcoma in Commack. We bought granite for a built in. They had a great selection and were wonderful to work with.

We used them for one bathroom and just went back to look for our next bathroom renovation. They are very friendly and helpful

Re: Granite/Quartzite/Marble stone companies?
Just finished picking our slab (went with granite) and fabricator. We visited European, Nash, Hindustan and eventually found our slab at Stone World Imports. Definitely worth it to us to find our exact slab bc even the granites and quartizites with the same names can look very different. All the places we went were in Farmingdale/Rt. 110 area except for Hindustan, which I believe was in Hauppague?

We purchased our Quartz at Ikea and it was installed by All Island Mica, I think they are in Farmingdale. They were very professional, did a great job, and were really nice and responsive when I phoned them directly.
