Grass - lawn

I put down new seed after ripping all of the old lawn and weeds up from the section of lawn that is near the street. Now the grass is growing back along with new 3 or 4 leave clover type weeds. What can I do to get rid of the weeds but not do anything to the way the grass is growing?

The clover is a sign of overwatering. check with our garden center, but we used scotts # 2 - its fertilizer and weed killer. We used it over a montha ago, so it might be too late in the season now.

Maybe check the scotts website too

We used the Scotts too and it worked great. In fact we did there whole 4 step process this year (just did step 3) and are very happy!

You can start the Scotts 4-step program for the year.

My lawn is half weed and half lawn. I started too late to get it under control. The weed will die this winter and I will start over early spring next year.

The Weed & Feed works wonders...We applied it to our front lawn back in early June & all the weeds are gone!!
