Great Adventure - Answer to my question about Infants and a cute story-added picture
When i read that no infants could ride, what they really should have said, (which is the wording they use on their friggin signs) is "Child must be able to walk." DS is 10 months old...he cant walk...he was no allowed on any of the rides. However, I did lie with regard to one...the big red car. Its friggin cars that just go around a track...I didnt really see the NEED for them to be able to walk so I stood on line with him and when we got to the front I received the question...
"He needs to be able to walk....can he walk?"
"Of Course he can walk, but he wont walk for you"
I have to see him walk
Well we can try
I stood him up and he stood on his own for 10 second and then plunked down...
"Come on Andy...its a test...this lady wants to see how you walk"
So he crawled on the concrete to the railing, pulled himself up and cruised five steps to the gate where she was standing and pulled on the lady's leg and cried.
I think that's the best you're going to get. She let him on the ride
Bad mommy moment...i taught my child to be decietful to get what he wants
