i second magnolia! yummy! there's another one in midtown on second ave -- same owner -- called buttercup.

Magnolia is my favorite! I always go there when I am in the city.
That place is strictly for cupcakes and lately it hasn't been as great as years ago...Im looking for actual creative bakeries.

For Billy's 30th Bday I ordered a cake from Sylvia Weinstock...it was amazing!!!! she is known for her wedding cakes but she is also does celebrations...
Also, my wedding cake was one of her designs...
