GREAT little mixer for preggos who will have a sip or two of wine and miss the fun stuff!!!
there are few things in life better than a glass of sangria in the summertime (mojitos in the summertime being one of the few, but I digress  )
I won't drink the sangria I normally make b/c it is fortified with schnapps and brandy, and I think that is going to far with my "liberal" views on alcohol during pregnancy...but I wanted something to that effect....
so I looked around my fridge and lo and behold....an epiphany. 
I combined my Izze pomegranate "soda" (all juice, no added sugar or HFCS, seltzer) with a bit of white wine. threw in some sliced strawberries and ice..DELICIOUS.
I even made it for our guests. for THEM, I used about 1 12oz bottle of Izze (plus a few onces extra) per 1 750 litre bottle of chilled white wine...added some sliced strawberries and ice. THE END.
for my own, I had about 4-5 oz of Izze, with about 2 onces of white wine...sliced strawberries and ice.
I was able to make 2 for myself with LESS than the amount of wine found in one full glass (all I will allow myself....5 oz)
I ended up having to make a second batch for my GUESTS, who really enjoyed the light and refreshing taste.
this time I did Izze Blackberry Soda, white wine, and sliced ripe nectarines.
it was so good I may keep it in my POST Preggo drink repetoire!!!
and I really like it b/c it's not nearly as sweet or calorie laden as other wine/champagne punches.
next I will try it with Prosecco!
anywho, this Bud is for you!

I had a St. Paulie's Girl non-alcoholic beer this weekend, it was pretty good!!! but this sounds better
