Re: Great places to go look at Christmas lights?

not sure if you want to drive to brooklyn, or of course, but when i was younger, i remember the houses being breathtaking- huge wood soldiers at peoples front doors, dancing dolls, giant jack-in-the-boxes. of course, i dont know if its the same or how far you are, but i was thinking of driving my little guy down there this weekend

somewhere in the areas of bay ridge and bensonhurst, i think

Dyker Heights is amazing. Google it. It will come up with videos. I went a few years ago and I had no kids at the time. It was truly spectacular and never seen lights like that before.

This is my parents block..they do it every year it's awesome! I also agree the one in Coram/Port Jefferson on Elm Street is the best around you can see it on YouTube also.

Husband has set up a great display on our lawn. 120+ decorations. Three sets of flying reindeer, multiple santa, a chior, and a penguin chorus (sorry they dont sing, so just turn up the radio LOL) Enjoy!
307 Massapequa Avenue, just north of Merrick Road!

Question about Dyker Hights... Do you drive through or park and walk around?
