Great River and East Islip Schools?
Hi, My DH and I are house hunting and someone suggested looking in Great River. Is anyone familiar with the area and schools (East Islip)?
TIA!

I grew up there, I love it and would move back in a second if I could!
Great River taxes are probably $15,000 and up on average.
East Islip is lower.
Islip Terrace is also East Islip SD

Re: Great River and East Islip Schools?
I lived there about 10yrs ago and my daughter graduated from the High School. I wanted to move back but didn't get the chance. It's a beautiful area. Especially Great River. Lots of property. And lots of taxes to go along with it Parts of Islip Terrace are E.I. schools. Parts are Central Islip. So double check when looking at homes, if Islip Terrace is an option.
