Great sale! I wish they had Maddie's size. I bought the same jacket in blue/green two years ago for Maddie but paid full price.
I bought a size up & got 2 years out of it.

Re: Great Sale on LL Bean if you want to buy next years snow clothes...
Question, how does anyone figure out what size to buy? I have no clue what size DS will be wearing this time next year, and while the sale is great, I'm afraid I'll buy the wrong size and waste my money. Just curious!

My kids are older, so I have a general idea of how much they grow in a year.
Right now Sarah's in a 7.5, so I got her a 9. Andy is in a 6.5, but he still hasn't reached that 2-2.5 mark where growth really slows down, so I got him a pair of size 8's at the Children's place for $3, and now these in a size 9 just in case he grows faster than Sarah. I can donate the ones I don't need.

I guess it is easier when they are older. At the rate he is growing I can kind of guess, but he could really speed up or slow down at any time. Even buying shorts was hard!
Maybe I can do this next year, he'll be 12-14 months then.

Earlier they only had the ugly grey/blue ones in size 9. But I figured for the 2x a year they wear them they are nice enough.
