Greek Candy Question...
Okay everyone, my DH went to a job and the man offered him some candy. He said it was Greek. He LOVED it and wants more, but doesn't know what it's called or where to get it.
Description: It was chewy (like chuckles) and had powdered sugar all over it. He said it was delicious. Does anyone know what it's called????

I think he had Loukoumi... No idea where you would get it though, I've only had it when we are in Greece.

Loukoumi is the Greek version of Turkish Delight. Practically the same.

English people seem to love it or hate it (a bit like Marmite) I like it in small amounts, but I prefer the citrus flavour ones to the rose flavoured ones.
Well we havea Turkish Restaurant in my neighbourhood and they give it out after the meal, so I would assume they have it there. Next time I go for my chicken shish I will ask Dennis who runs the place. He has a son named Seven (after Eric Cantona's number for Manchester United) And that was a little bit of nonsense for ya.
