went on my honeymoon cruise- rhodes, santorini, mykonos and then athens- (along with other places outside of Greece) and I loved it! I want to go back so badly!

Hey Jackie! I did a Greek Isle cruise for my honeymoon. We left out of Venice, Italy and went to Athens, Mykonos, and Rhodes with a stop in Dubrovnik, Croatia. It was amazing!!!

We went to the Greece for our honeymoon. We didn't go on a cruise. We spent a couple of days at each place and flew or took a ferry to get from one island to the other. The flights are short and pretty cheap. We went to Athens, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini. We had a wonderful time. It's absolutely gorgeous there, especially Santorini. I definitely recommend going there.

We also went to Greece for our HM...flew into Athens for a couple of days and then spent 9 days in Santorini.
While I would love to see other islands -and do plan to return one day- we didn't want to island-hop for our HM. I'm happy that we got to spend so much time in such a magical place - Santorini was breathtaking in every sense of the word.

We took celebrity- and actually we flew to Rome and went to Greece, Turkey, and Italy! It was wonderful!

They are all amazing..I have been to about 15 islands there...my favorite is Santorini, Skiathos, Zakinthos, Lefkada....Crete is nice but to big for me...DH is Greek so we have been going every year for the past 10 years....
When you do Greece don't do a cruise, not worth it...just fly to Athens and take ferries (or planes) everywhere....you will save money like that and see more...

I go every year!!! Love it.... BUT my in laws have a house there so it's alot cheaper and easier for us to go ... It is beautiful though!!!!! You won't wna to come home. I never do !!

I have been to Athens and Santorini.. My friends brother owns a restaurant and rentals on the beach in Santorini.. It was absolutely beautiful...
Athens you only need a day or 2 to do the sites..

DH and I are going on a Royal Carribean cruise this November that leaves out of Venice and stops in Croatia, Turkey, Corfu and Santorini.
I do know that because of the time of year we are going, it is not going to be "beach weather," however we plan on doing more sight-seeing, city tours, etc.
