Greek yougurt?
I read that a lot of people eat Greek yogurt instead of regular. What is the difference between the two? Is Greek better? Thanks!

I eat it for the protein. I did have to get used to the texture though.

How is the texture? Is it thicker? Does it taste the same as regular? I have a hard time eating yougurt...sometimes I cant stand the taste. but i know its so good for you, so I thought maybe the Greek kind was different, or tasted different.

Re: Greek yougurt?
Greek yogurt tastes like plain yogurt, but has a thicker, almost sour cream like consistancy. You definitely have to try it to see if you like it or can adjust to liking it. I love it drizzled with honey. It is also really good with berries.
ETA- it is very high in protein compared to reg. yogurt.

The first few times I told myself I was eating pudding, haha. You get used to it. I usually mix in some fruit or granola, berries when the are season is the best.

Re: Greek yougurt?
I didn't have an issue with the texture but I had a big issue with the taste. It had a horrible undertaste IMO- I coudln't even finish it.... I'll stick with regular yogurt and get my extra protein elsewhere.

Re: Greek yougurt?
Its not just the protein that makes it better than the regular yogurt. It is all Natural good stuff not that added garbage we have in our yogurts. None of the sweeteners or High frutose corn syrup.

I love Fage 0%. Sprinkle some splenda on it. It is seriously like whipped cream.

It has more protein and is thicker then regular yogurt. I usually add fresh berries and some granola.
