We always have random bags of veggies from trader joes in the freezer so the other day we had chicken and I made this as a side dish SOOO GOOD and I'm thinking of making it for Thanksgiving instead of the normal green bean casserole

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound green beans, trimmed, washed and cut into 1-inch pieces (if you buy them in the freezer isle, this is done for you already)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup water
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup almonds chopped up (I used my electric chopper)
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:
Directions for green beans
Combine green beans, onion soup mix, and water. Cook over low heat until green beans are tender. Drain and spoon green beans into serving dish; stir in butter and almonds.

Top green beans with Parmesan cheese.
Green Beans with Parmesan serves 4 to 6.
