Green in the eyes

At what age is the green gook supposed to go away, or lessen? Thanks

I am not sure what you are talking about bc when ds had green gook in his eyes he needed eye drops bc it was conjuctivitis

My son is 2 weeks old. I thought the green gook was normal for a newborn. Maybe not...I hope its not a clogged tear duct.

If it is a clogged duct, you should massage the area around his eyes and it will clear up on its own.

Emma has a clogged tear duct. I massage it. It's never produced green gook though. It's always been white. You might want to ask the ped. about it.

DS has tear duct problems. Ped says to clean & massage it daily. I believe the green gunk means it may be infected. DS has been on antibiotic drops since his was. I would have your Ped check it out.
