Green poop
DS has been having some green poops lately - watery green. He is exclusively breastfed, and I haven't really changed my diet. Anyone have ideas on what could be causing this and, more important, whether it's something to be concerned about?

Re: Green poop
Its always good to check in with your pediatrician... we don't know your whole history!
When this happened to me it seemed to be an issue of too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk. See Kellymom for a bit more explanation on what hindmilk is. When I let her nurse longer on a single side it seemed to get better.

Re: Green poop
how old is your baby? At 4 weeks(last thursday) my baby's poop changed to green. no diet changes..I am trying to empty out as much foremilk as I can before feedings..
my baby's diapers were mucusy too..this week his stool was tested and came positive for microscopic blood found, probably a milk allergey.
So green-dr wasn't too worried mucus-raised eyebrows to test watery-I was told to bring him in if I get a watery diaper.
