Re: Greenlawn

It's nice, I think Harborfield's SD (but not 100% sure) which is very good, and I like its proximity to Huntington (good restaurants and a great movie theater).

Greenlawn is a nice area. It's in between Northport and Huntington so there are good restaurants, shopping, etc all within close proximity. The school district (Harborfields) is supposed to be very good. It is one stop on the LIRR so the commute is a little over an hour to NYC. It's also convenient to the LIE & Northern State Pkwys.

I used to work over there a few years ago and really like the area. It's near everything.

I live in Huntington, but right on the border of Centerport and Greenlawn.

Nice town and as others have said, the proximity to HV and Northport makes it great! Excellent SD, close to the water, commute to NYC is reasonable (by train).

It's a very community oriented area(Greenlawn, Centerport, Northport, Huntington).

North Greenlawn is especially beautiful!!! It's like a hidden gem on Long Island. Large homes on big properties.

Re: Greenlawn

I grew up there. My parents still live there. It is a great area but I think I would have liked to go to school in a bigger district, but that's just me. Most people would probably prefer a place like Greenlawn. After I graduated, I went to a huge university and loved it there.
