Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
Thanks...any pics?
I like the idea of it being a grey/green...that's what really drew me to the Silver Sage from Restoration HArdware.

Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
The new pottery barn colors have some nice gray paints by BM.
I wrote it before but I painted this accent wall feather gray by Pratt & Lambert (my favorite brand of paint) but I am going to change it to a more true gray, Windham Gray. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
The two greys I'm considering are from the new PB catalogue (however I've had the swatch for the Cement Grey for a while now).
The color you posted looks beige to me - maybe it's my screen?

Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
I want to do a room like a light blue/gray.
I went on the Behr site and the one I love is called Eminence but its not letting me right click to show you.

Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
i don't have any pictures but i had considered painting our DR Nantuket Gray from Benjamin Moore - it is a really pretty color - but we went with sage instead...... Not that this really helps but it is one of the benjamin moore color samples if you wanted to test it out!

Another color swatch I've had for a while now. I agree - it is a beautiful color and yes, you are of no help! I need pics!

If you go here BM Personal Viewer you can paint a room in any color you want. Just click on "Let's Paint" and pick the room you want to decorate.

Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
That's one of my favorite grey's - Copely Grey. I really love how they paired it with a golden taupe-y color.
Color wheel's are a good base point but the colors don't look the same on a wall...

AND ITS NOT SUPER GRAY-EY ITS MORE NEUTRAL
WHY NOT TRY THAT ONE AND ALSO TRY ONES A COUPLE SHADES LIGHTER AND DARKER AROUND IT
ITS A GREAT STARTING COLOR

Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
No, I think the picture doesn't really reflect how gray-ish the color is. Like I said it is more greige-a cement color.

Re: Grey (or Gray) Rooms
I think I'll get some of those cute little sample jars from BM and paint some swatches in the room.
I currently have 4 areas, with 2 different colored patches in my livingroom trying to decide whether I really want a yellow/gold in there. The first two rooms were easy...now I'm stumped

Ive been playing with this too, it's fun, but now Im more confused than ever about what paint colors I want to choose!
ETA: ABC's Extreme Makeover website may give you some good ideas and paint colors too. I love looking at their transformations. I am in love w/ the kitchen they have on their home page right now!!
