I thought the whole scene when Meredith's stepmom was well done...it shocked me.
I loved Amy Brenneman as the shrink on the spinoff..she was believable.
eta: is the girl who played Naomi (Addison's friend who she was staying with) the same as "Kelly" (Deacon's wife) on The King of Queens

I was disappointed. They should have had Grey's on for the first hour, and the new show on for the second hour...Flip flopping back and forth like that was annoying and confusing.
I'm on the fence about the spin-off. Eh. It 'might' have potential.
I cried when Meredith had to tell her Dad that her stepmom died...  I felt so bad for them.
Yay for George and Izzy.  They are growing on me.
Derek better not cheat. I don't usually love Meredith, but cut the girl some slack!
Cristina and Burke just crack me up for some reason. I hope they really do get married.
What is with Jane Doe's teeth?

Isn't it weird though how they could fix her face so well but they couldn't get a cosmetic dentist in there to fix her teeth?

I think Addison's show has potential. I think ABC will definitely pick it up for the fall.
I liked seeing a more emotional side of Addison. I've always liked her....much more than Meredith.

I was wondering where Naomi was from. I agree it was confusing flip flopping between the two - it has potential, not sure yet though. I love Tim Daly I like Amy Brennamin, I just wish her name wasn't Violet - I don't know, it didn't fit. (silly I know)
The scene with Meredith at the end with her dad was great, I acn't believe he hit her.
She usually annoys me, but the woman has grown on me so Dereck better not cheat!
Burke and Christina are so cute!

She's also from Alias Season 1. She was Sydney's roommate Francie.

It was like a who's who of supporting characters.
I think it will be good once they separate it out from GA.
