I think I may be the only one who didnt cry too much tonight and actually didnt like the episode too much.
Every talk show in the world already told us George wasnt coming back so I had a whole summer to get used to it..and I just didnt like the way the whole thing played out. The saddest part to me was when Bailey was asking where his organs were going and when Callie was crying in the operating room. I dont know, I guess I just expected more sadness over GEORGE! I cant believe hes gone..he was one of my faves on that show..but I may be nuts because everyone else I talk to loved it tonight..so maybe its just me?

I'm with you. I thought there were too many commercials and a lot of melodrama. I cried, don't get me wrong, but not like previous episodes. I thought laughing at the girl at the funeral was not cool.

I was up and down with this episode
George was my fave from the beginning so it may be hard for me to even watch this again. Baily asking about the organs had me hysterical.
Laughing at the cemetry? I thought it was special that the hard core original Greys crew stepped aside and were comforting each other. Laughing to me wasnt so bad since that is the way that group dealt with the stress of residency etc. Plus George was a fun guy so I found it fitting.

I thought that episode was awful! Laughing when someone dies is just odd imo and the girl who lost her limbs--well calling her that awful nickname and laughing about it wasnt at all funny. i thought it was a pathetic epsiode.

I thought the season finale was excellent. This, as a follow up, really wasn't that great in my opinion. Obviously, everyone already knew his character was killed off, so I found it annoying when they showed that scene with Lexi saying "it's not him." And, I didn't like any of the scenes with people laughing about his death. To me, that just wasn't realistic.

While the laughing was odd, I can understand being a bundle of so much raw emotion when grieving and not having control of where that takes you..
I have to say scene of Izzy yelling at the girl on the bench bothered me more, that was just mean.

Same here.
I also thought Alex was a jerk for saying what he did to Izzy (about missing George) - what a scumbag. I'm sorry but I just don't believe that he (the man she married for crying out loud) is that much of an a-hole.
I was soooooooo disappointed in this episode. I have it DVRd for next week but I don't think I'll be watching it - who knows though? Flash Forward was AWESOME and I may just watch Grey's after that.

I was a little weirded out by that but then I got it. I read between the lines and was like...ok, she reflecting off herself here, She needs to live too knowing that she has cancer..blah blah blah.
Reality check I guess.
It was ok. I wasnt bored but again, just OK.

A little disappointed here too. It wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be.
I actually liked the laughing at the funeral part - I myself have had the uncontrollable urge to laugh while at the funeral of someone I was very close to, so I "got it." Grief can make you do some strange things.
But what's up with them bringing Izzy back? I thought she was leaving the show?? And I hated the way Alex treated her, and Callie's ego explosion, and the whole thing with the boating accident girl.

i liked it, i cried through most of it,
laughing at the cemetary, it wasn't so much that it was funny they were releasing all their feelings, it happens,
calling the boating girl ceviche, i admit i laughed at one point, horrible yes i know,
izzy telling kerev that she really misses george so she wants to get busy and him blowing her off i felt he was right, i would have probably been annoyed at that too, but he should have comforted her
