I thought this episode was sooo bad. Honestly 2 hours, bored, no thrills, no laughs, BOOO, bad Greys, Bad!!!
Agreed! What a waste of two hours. I kept thinking, "It'll get better..." No such luck.

I actually liked the laughing at the funeral part - I myself have had the uncontrollable urge to laugh while at the funeral of someone I was very close to, so I "got it." Grief can make you do some strange things.
I completely agree with you on your last line. So when Izzy had to sneak away and then they all joined her, I got it. But laughing at the girl he saved...I thought that was just mean and I'm finding that Izzy is kind of a mean chick!

I watched it last night and while it wasn't the best episode I liked it and I thought the way they grieved was actually right on the mark for their characters.
I actually got choked up the most when Christina finally acknowledged it. (love Christina and Owen!!) I thought the way Karev reacted to Izzy about the George thing was on target too. He has such commitment issues and then she almost dies, I knew he would be dealing with that.
BTW I would of totally punched Callie in the face if she did that stuff to my BF

See I really liked it and like dthat they were getting back to the core group of characters, but adding in new stuff. I have a feeling this season is going to be very different then the last 5.

I actually liked the whole episode. The laughing part had me laughing too, because I kept saying why is this girl crying more than the people who actually knew George, and when Izzy said it I burst out laughing. Christina is starting to get on my nerves with her insenstivity. I can't wait for the rest of the season.

Laughing at the cemetry? I thought it was special that the hard core original Greys crew stepped aside and were comforting each other. Laughing to me wasnt so bad since that is the way that group dealt with the stress of residency etc. Plus George was a fun guy so I found it fitting.
To me, this scene was a rip off of the scene in Steel Magnolias. I didn't feel like their laughter was REAL. It didn't feel natural. 
Overall, I thought the first half was booooooring and the second half was somewhat better. Not the best or worst Grey's I have seen.
