grocery shopping with an 18 month old and a 8 week old..

i havent tried it yet but have any of you girls used the shopping cart with the little car in the front of it for your 18 month old? i dont want to look stupid..but does it have straps to keep her in the car? and do they stay in it? thanks

Yup, just strap in your 18 month old (I would also bring snacks in case your 18MO gets bored easily) and put the infant in the seat part (in the car seat),

I just order my groceries (waldbaums and stop and shop) and have them delivered..

But my son has gone in the little car thing a few times.. they usually love it and will just stay in.. but I don't think it has straps.. not positive though

In general they dont stay in it...I had twins so the car shopping cart was a godsend..but they can get in and out of it..the cart is also smaller so you cant fit in as many groceries.

I have never used those carts I usually just put the younger one in the larger part of the cart in the infant carrier and the older one goes in front. If I have a big shopping to do and I take the 2 of them then I put the baby in the Bjorn. People will almost always help me put stuff on the belt for check out especially if it is around 9:30am durning the week.

Both of my kids love those carts. They have a lapbelt, but they are both so busy with the steering wheel they don't try to get out.

Why don't you put your 8 wk old in the baby Bjorn? Thats how I did it with Cailen until he could sit in the cart - he still loves the Bjorn, but he's getting too heavy!!!

thats what i used to do... I couldn't push the cart with the car on the front with the baby carrier in the shopping cart because i couldn't see around it, I kept crashing into things

I've gone shopping numerous times and like to torture myself. Roman just sits in the wagon and Clover's infant seat is on top. I never thought to use those
