Groomer gave Oscar a new nickname!!!!!!
He's Oscar de la Hoya now  . He didn't fight with the groomer but she says he is feisty like a fighter. She used what I consider to be an old school New York phrase when she said, "this dog is a pissa." She has very few other dachshunds as regular customers and she said that Oscar happens to be her only dachshund who is not shy. The only other news I have is that she said that his anal glads were packed but she squeezed out every last drop. Yuck!
So, Oscar de la Hoya may stick as a nickname for him. Don't worry, I would never actually put him in the ring as a fighting dog.
