Groomer recommendation needed- southern Nassau

I have a wonderful, obedient and loyal miniature schnauzer. My groomer in Malverne retired 2 years ago (she did it in her home) and she loved Jake. I took him to a place here in Oceanside where I thought it was good because they let the dogs play in a cute playyard- until you go to pick up the dogs and they just ask "oh which one is yours?" no thanks- anyone can just go kidnap him.
I found a great new place here in Oceanside who treated him so well and doesn't cage-dry and they groomed him to my specs exactly. unfortunately, the owners changed hands and all this new owner does is complain about my dog and how he barks while he's there and occasionally poops. No, he never poops in my house nor do I bring him in without walking him and having him completely empty out. I am convinced Jake is nervous and scared there. He always comes home upset and disconnected...

I am looking for someone either at home or through a recommendation who is great at scissoring or custom cuts. TIA

Sorry to hear that. Have you consider a mobile groomer instead?

I LOVE Cozy pets in Babylon. I live in southern nassau and go to her. She is GREAT! Now I have a larger dog but my parents whom always used her has lil doggies. Kristen there is GREAT!!!!!

no cage drying at all. You can stay and watch the whole time too! They treat the dogs there as if every one is their own!
