Grooming Pets and Tranquilizers
Has anyone given their pet a (vet-prescribed) tranquilizer before taking them in for a grooming?
Did your animal suffer any side effects? Was it helpful for the groomer?

I did that once for my pug since he is so bad at getting his nail cut!!! 
did it help not really alittle but I never did it again I just make sure I take him for walks on cement so he can file them down naturally!!

I have two cats so it's not an issue for me, but I don't think I would feel comfortable doing that.

How is your pet without a tranquilizer when he's groomed? Did your groomer recommend a tranq.?
